Wet shaving – that's our specialty, and we're experts in it. Since 1980, we've been producing high-quality wet shaving accessories in our own factory. You won't find our products everywhere, but you'll find them in specialist shops that place great value on expert advice and have a certain flair for unique, unusual items. Therefore, requests for custom-made items, such as a shaving set made of solid gold, are not uncommon. We not only know how to craft shaving brushes and razors of the highest quality, but also supply matching shaving soap and shaving balm of the same quality. We create products that you'll enjoy using, looking at, and feeling good about for a long time.

Story

Werner Pils founded a sole proprietorship in Stuttgart in 1980 to produce self-designed, high-quality shaving accessories. The reason for this was that the market offered nothing that could meet his requirements. Thanks to his many years as sales manager for a leading cosmetics company, he was able to build on his in-depth market knowledge. His meticulously handcrafted shaving utensils enjoyed increasing popularity. Today, PILS brand products are among the best in the world. In 2003, Werner Pils retired from active business life and handed over PILS GmbH to his successor, Micha Birkhofer, who successfully continues to run the company.

Our goal is to create products that are not only beautiful, but also practical and durable. That's why we make no compromises when selecting raw materials, we process them to the highest standards of quality, give our products a timeless design, and constantly test their functionality.

Environment

As a manufacturer, we also see it as our responsibility to protect the environment, which we also expect from our suppliers. We avoid unnecessarily long transport routes, reuse transport packaging, and use outer packaging made from recycled materials. We source electricity exclusively from renewable energy sources and also pay attention to sustainability when selecting our partners. For example, our website is operated by a web host that also uses only green electricity.
